How to Use This Site

The concept of this site came to me through a dream many years ago after personal
trials, tribulations, tests, downfalls and encounter with the Spirit that eventually led to
salvation. The purpose of the site is not restricted to Christians however guided by
Christian values, essentially taking care of each other through love. According to
western philosoply “love” is often considered a strange emotional attribute often
associated with weakness. However according to the ancient origins, the word goes
much deeper to include family love, friendship love, love of forgiveness and punishment.
Love is not as simple a term as we have provided in this present day. Perhaps that is
why many of us neglect to truly embellish and manifest the out pouring of Christs love.

I had little idea what God wanted from me when I woke up that morning many years ago
reflecting on visuals of the dream. In Jesus form, I was walking in a park with Jesus,
seen images of people helping people on a personal level all across the globe without
the distractions of requirements and lengthly wait times often associated with non profit
or government applications and approvals.

From personal crisis such as “to name a few”: job loss, divorce, someone to talk to,
elderly or disabled peoples rural our home bound in need of food, meds, house help etc.
Help with bills, budgeting, food shortage, clean water, advice, clothing and more. Many
people these days are impacted by “natural” disaster and need help with life in general:
housing, gas, transportation, food, water, shelter, clothing, pet care, someone to be a
reliable resource. From fires, floods, blizzards, winds, mud slides, hurricanes, typhoons,
power outages, and tsunamis. There is always something crazy and out of control
happening in which we need to help each other to survive.

But here’s the catch, many of us do not know how to ask for help nor reach out and offer
help without feeling like were offending or being a burden. It can be difficult to ask
friends or family for help without judgement. We also have cultural barriers to overcome
that divide our ability to ask for and get help.

The purpose of this site follows that of a Godly person. This site allows people to reach
out, and actually speak to each other, hear each other out on a personal, human to
human level. Not just asking for money and moving on. It’s an honest connection, a
relationship whether long term or short term. Its not just donating dollars to a cause, and
the support never reaching the need at 100%. This site is FREE to use. We take no
portion of supports, we don’t mediate the help. Think of this site as a 1960’s -1990’s
classified ad in the Sunday newspaper. This used to be a “thing”.

Lets be honest though, we now live in a relatively unstable world, therefore it is critical
to connect with people and proceed with DISCERNMENT. There are many people
looking to take advantage of others, as well as many looking to hurt others. This is why
Jesus said in Proverbs 23:9 not to waste counsel on the fool, 2 Chronicles 19:2 don’t
help the wicked who hate the Lord. Don’t help “the lazy, the manipulative or selfish”.
My best advise is if you need help: Create a post “in truth”, it doesn’t matter if you are a
wealthy person of means, or a single parent living in poverty struggling to get by. Post in
truth and use a photo or two to support the “picture of need”. A picture says a thousand
words. If you are here in search of someone to help, be careful, don’t give out your
personal information, or do so with great discernment and be sure to “define your
intention and boundaries from the beginning”.
