POEM: Self Control
- POEMS
GOD CAN YOU HEAR ME:
I wanna be original, unique, one of a kind,
Can’t get a moment to clear my mind.
Soda, TV, movies and more,
You sell ur soul like a 2-minute whore.
Mirrors make me sad.
Is life really this bad?
Binge watch galore,
Retreat to the floor.
Get back up, gotta see more.
Don’t exercise, live in the lies.
thought I could do this.
thought that I knew this.
I have no money,
This life ain’t so funny.
Travel, experience, explore,
Can’t even get to the door.
Credits a mess,
health in distress.
It’s not my fault
No one said halt.
Everyday should be fun,
Now on the run.
God can you hear me?
I know You said, “fear me”,
Can barely read,
Yet spread toxic seed.
God can you hear me?
I have no voice.
Words, not a choice.
Help me understand.
The Silence of the Lamb.
God can you hear me?
Where do I go?
I gotta know.
